The interviews were carried out in collaboration with visual artists Andrea Creutz, Heidrun Holzfeind, Ava Bromberg, Emma Hedditch, and art historian Malene Ratcliffe.
Andrea Creutz and Kirsten Dufour launched the Let Us Speak Now project in August 2002 in Los Angeles. Let Us Speak Now was presented at the Los Angeles Art Association in Gallery 825, where the interview approach was discussed with an invited audience. This process was followed by two weeks of video interviews in Los Angeles.
In autumn 2002, interviews were collected in London in collaboration with Emma Hedditch and The Women Artists Slide Library.
In December 2002, the interview series continued in San Diego and Mexico.
In 2003, Kirsten Dufour collected interviews in New York (in collaboration with Heidrun Holzfeind) and in Chicago (with Ava Bromberg).
In 2005, a new series of video interviews was recorded in Istanbul by Kirsten Dufour together with Malene Ratcliffe.
In 2006–2007, interviews were collected in Paris by Kirsten Dufour and Rhea Dall in collaboration with Virginie Jourdain and Emilie Duval, curators of Revolt, She Said! (2006) at La Criée centre d’art contemporain, Rennes.
